Asian American Chamber of Commerce Opens Up New Satellite Office in South Philly

For Immediate Release:

Philadelphia, PA, Monday, March 22 – The Asian American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Philadelphia, in partnership with Customers Bank, will be opening a satellite office in South Philly at 1040 E. Passyunk Avenue to better serve small businesses. A formal opening ceremony is expected in mid-May.

Asian businesses face unique barriers caused by the diverse cultures and languages and our expertise providing services to them places us front and center of the recovery process. In addition, the pandemic has devastated small businesses, in particular minority businesses, creating a significant need to help them recover from unprecedented issues never experienced before. This office will provide direct access to businesses in this corridor to provide services to help business to recover.

“We thank Customers Bank for their support,” said Narasimha Shenoy, President and CEO of the Chamber. “This new location will mark a new beginning for the organization and build support for Asian-owned small and micro businesses, fostering job creation and economic growth for all.”

“We are pleased to deepen our relationship with the Asian American Chamber of Commerce,” said Richard Ehst, President & CEO of Customers Bank. “It is important that organizations work together to support diversity in the small business community.”
