What is Asian Eats?
Asian Eats Restaurant week is a 7-day culinary celebration during AAPI Heritage Month that highlights the vibrant diversity of Asian-owned restaurants across Philadelphia. Originally established to raise awareness and support the community during the post-pandemic rise in anti-Asian hate, the initiative evolved in 2025 to revitalize Chinatown and has expanded in 2026 to bring fresh energy to Asian-owned businesses citywide. As Philadelphia prepares for the global stage of America 250 and FIFA 2026, this campaign, powered by the Asian American Chamber of Commerce aims to boost revenue for independent, local eateries of any cuisine by promoting them to a wider audience. From May 24 – 31, participating restaurants will feature special Asian Eats menus and receive marketing and technical support at no cost, inviting the entire city to uplift our community through the universal language of food.
